Libraries As A Third Place ECHO: Navigating Community Health

March 20 to June 12, 2025
Every 2 weeks on Thursdays at 12:00pm ET

Libraries serve almost all towns, large and small, and are trusted to provide guidance, support, and resources to community members on diverse issues. Increasingly, libraries have become engaged in supporting community health. They help patrons find health-related information, offer support and shelter to vulnerable community members, serve as locations for various health and social service-related meetings, and provide access to online services, including telehealth. This ECHO will create a virtual space for librarians and other community members to explore library roles in community health, share strategies to optimize services, and consider how the public health community can best support libraries in their community health roles.
