- NCTRC Webinar - Telehealth at Yet Another Crossroads: Analysis of Our Present and Potential Futures March 20, 2025, 2:00PM EST In this 1-hour webinar, four telehealth experts will review recent developments in the telehealth regulatory landscape and discuss ways in which these developments are advancing or restricting telehealth innovation and implementation. The discussion will focus on developments in three specific policy domains: changes in the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule for 2025 and prior years, the recently released DEA and SAMHSA prescription drug/controlled substance policy statements, and the pandemic-related federal flexibilities that are set to expire on March 31 unless Congress takes action. We will review the status of current policy in these areas and discuss how recent and pending changes are set to impact telehealth programs across the country.
- Libraries As A Third Place ECHO: Navigating Community Health March 20 to June 12, 2025 Libraries serve almost all towns, large and small, and are trusted to provide guidance, support, and resources to community members on diverse issues. Increasingly, libraries have become engaged in supporting community health. They help patrons find health-related information, offer support and shelter to vulnerable community members, serve as locations for various health and social service-related meetings, and provide access to online services, including telehealth. This ECHO will create a virtual space for librarians and other community members to explore library roles in community health, share strategies to optimize services, and consider how the public health community can best support libraries in their community health roles.
