- Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant Program Webinar June 3, 2026 1:00 P.M> Eastern Time Hosted by: USDA Rural Development (RD) Rural Utilities Service (RUS) The DLT program provides financial assistance to enable and improve distance learning and telemedicine services in rural areas. DLT funds support the use of telecommunications-enabled information, audio and video equipment, and related advanced technologies by students, teachers, medical professionals, and rural residents.
- Healthy Grants Workshops June 10, 2026, 2026 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada) Presentation # 1: 1:00 pm-2:30 PM Allowable and Unallowable Costs New Recipients/Refresher In this session, we’ll discuss how to determine if a cost is allowable, provide guidance on how to document costs associated with your grants, and present examples of allowable and unallowable costs. The objective of this session is to increase recipients understanding of costs that can be charged to a federal award per 2 CFR 200.403 to better assist recipients in ensuring their costs are allowable and support the responsible stewardship of federal funds. Presentation # 2: 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM Best Practices for Budgeting and Rebudgeting Advanced but open to everyone This session builds on basic budgeting topics to highlight preparing line item budgets and budget justifications to include personnel changes, budget adjustments and rebudgeting requirements. We’ll explore cost principles and provide illustrative examples of common errors and successful practices in budgeting and rebudgeting.
